SPOTLIGHT - ARRI & THE AMERICAN CHESTNUT

SECRETARY KEMPTHORNE SPOTLIGHTS AMERICAN CHESTNUT TO MARK 30TH ANNIVERSARY OF SMCRA     

An American chestnut, representing 25 years of crossbreeding science, was recently planted on the grounds of the U.S. Department of the Interior to mark in part the 30th anniversary of the signing of the Surface Mining Control and Reclamation Act (SMCRA) which has regulated mining of 29.5 billion tons of coal.
